I am 24. I am categorized into fat. Becoming obese. My chest fat is more than regular. It looks bad and feels bad. To get rid of that, I exercise with warm up and mainly focusing on chest like push ups and take a steam on chest only on chest. I think that it will help to reduce that chest fat. Am I right? Or I am doing anything wrong?

hello lybrate user you are doing good job. you should not take much steam on chest. you can loose your weight naturally by three dimensional approach. 1. Dietary changes- you must take high fiber and whole grain diet like khichdi, daliya, corn flex, fruits-apple, guava,papaya, soups, multi grain atta chapati etc. Avoid- deep fried, spicy, sweets, cold drinks, curd, (nonveg, eggs, alcohol and smoke if u take) etc. 2. Life style modification- avoid sedentary life and be active. Go for morning or evening walk, do some yoga and exercises. Cycling, swimming and outdoor games can also help. Avoid nap / day sleep. Do suryanamaskar, trikonasan, bhujangasana, yogic jogging etc. 3. Ayurvedic medicines- some ayurvedic medicines like medohar gugulu, ayurslim capsules along with Panchkarma treatment can reduce weight quickly.

Hi Lybrate User, To reduce fat from anywhere in the body, you need to do active cardio based exercises like running, jogging, treadmill, swimming, games etc for at least one hour daily + reduce fried foods and sweets things. Just doing pushups is not sufficient. Steam on the body does not reduce any fat. There is no possibility of any spot reduction on the body. Change your food habits + indulge in active exercises, that will solve your problem.
