I got hurt on my eyeball once back 4 months ago by a cardboard box, it got swollen for a few hours, and when I went to consult a doctor she gave me relief drops. It did cure me of the pain and irritation for a while. But when I use laptop or mobile for hours I get a feeling that there is something on my eyeball, a rough tiny patch. It recurs every time I spend more time on the screen. Some say my eyeball crystal had broken down and I need some ointment. Drops work work. What do you suggest.

It is probably due to dryness induced by high screen usage. Follow 20- 20- 20 rule during computer usage. Means after every 20 Minutes of screen time look at a point beyond 20 feet for 20 seconds. Continue using lubricating eye drops. Use a lubricating gel or ointment at bedtime everyday. If there is no relief in a weeks time. Please re visit an eye doctor.
