My aunt is 49 years old. For washing hair mistakenly she used dove conditioner yesterday instead of shampoo to wash her hair. In the evening when she combed her hair, almost 3/4th of her hair came out. There were a lot of tangles which caused hair loss. Today too while combing she had hair loss why is it happening. Is it because if conditioner or is it something else.

Hello Dais Just a single application of conditioner should not ideally cause so much of hairloss because even a conditioner is meant to be used on hair . Also it shouldn't cause tangles as a conditioner CONDITIONS hair which means it makes them soft and manageable. Are you sure there was not something else filled in the conditioner bottle? Also , maybe she already has hairloss and she noticed it more recently. In any case if the condition persists it can be managed with homeopathy. For now just wait for a week and be gentle with hair. do not massage, she can apply oil if dry hair and then comb with wide toothed comb to avoid breakage. Tell her not to worry as stress makes it worse. Increase protein intake such as sprouts, curd, paneer, fish, chicken, egg etc Please let me know if you have any more queries
