I have 138000 platelets. I have no fever. Usually I have this count between 1.3L to 1.4L. Is it normal. If not what medicine should be taken & for how long. I am nearly 67 years old.

Sir this platelet count is slightly on the lower side, However a complete blood count needs to seen with peripheral smear, b12 levels before making further comments. L.
