Green tea / coffee / or any of such drinks promise weight loss, but in reality their impact is virtually zero. It just leads to wastage of money and frustration. The root cause of weight gain is excessive eating. Unless the root cause is changed, your weight will not change. You need to focus on food habits and exercise. That is the only way to good health and fitness.
