My baby is 2 and half month old. Weight is 4.5 kg. At birth his weight was 2.370. He was breastfeed. Should I need to wake him up at night for feed while he was sleeping or let him sleep until he wake up. In day time I feed him every 2-3 hours 70-100 ml. Is it the right amount or I need to increase?

That a good weight gain for your baby. Your breastfeed for every 2-3 hours is adequate. Do not wake your baby at night as sleep is equally important. It is better to feed only when the baby is in fully conscious state. Hence do not disturb the sleep. Most babies eventually cry or wakeup at night time when there stomach is empty and they sleep all day. But if in your case, baby is drinking all day and having sound sleep at niight, then thats not to be worried. You must consume minimum 3 glasses of milk per day and consume food for every 2-3 hrs. Along with your regular meals, include a fist of boiled peanuts or walnuts everyday or roasted gingely seeds in its laddu form or chutney form.
