Hello Dr. My elder brother 42 years old hba1c is 6.5 sugar AC 143 Pc 134 hemoglobin is 13.5. But plate late count is just 85000 only. Tell me Dr. How to increase count. What to eat. Diet please.

Whether is he suffering from any fever? Normal range of platelet is 1.5lac to 4.5 lac, I think his blood sugar seems to be good control, Advice him to continue proper diabetic food especially more greens and vegetables, more fruits, that is sufficient. Only thing monitor platelets, if it goes down consult general physician to find out the cause. All the best.
