Hii am 22 years old. I have mixed depression & anxiety. I am a professional engineer so in this condition also I have to manage my job or else I will lose my job. My consultant psychiatrist have tried almost all kind of drugs but nothing is working out for me. I am not able to fight the depression as my energy level is very low & feeling emotionless. Without emotion no action is possible but lack of energy is the cause why I am unable to counter my depression. How I will be energetic & get motivated to stand against depression?

Hello lybrate-user. Depression is something which you can't combat with medicines alone. You have to maintain proper physical fitness and a fixed routine which won't allow you to fall into the trap of depressive thought s. Also counselling sessions with a good psychologist is very helpful. A fixed exercise regime will not only help you to maintain your physical fitness but also make you mentally strong. As I can see according to your height you need to lose considerable amount of weight.
