I am suffering from deep vein thrombosis in my right lower limb since last november. The doctor consult me to take blood thinners. He said these pills take for 6 months. But problem is still here. If I leave the tablets there rise the pain in my lower limb. So please give me suggestion what can I do now. Medicine suggest by doctor acitrom 4 acitrom 2 Ecosprin 75.

Dear lybrate-user, Dvt is very much treatable. Kindly consult a Vascular Surgeon. You may require reimaging to check your deep veins for any new clot or extension of the earlier clots. Also kindly ensure regular PT INR blood test and maintain it in correct range when you taking blood thinner. Get well soon, Regards.
