Doctor, from last 20 days, I am suffering from pain in the right hand. Its at the elbow and the little finger and ring finger. Sometimes it pains while sometimes there is no pain but a weakness like feeling in those areas of the right hand. I went to an orthopaedic doctor on 10th October and he prescribed some medicines and suggested physiotherapy. Also got an xray of the elbow and wrist and it was normal. Doctor said its with the nerve which is known as Ulnar nerve. But its been 20 days and I am not feeling relief. I went for physiotherapy for 10 days. There is only a mild relief now. I need to work on the computer and am not able to do it because of this issue. I am not aware how much does it take to heal completely or should I go for a different doctor. PS: I have been giving complete rest to my right hand. Not doing anything at all. Please suggest. Thanks.
