I was born in 1988. At age of 4 years, I suffered from Typhoid. Due to effect of typhoid, all my hairs fell off. I was diagnosed with alopecia. Treatment went on several years and some success was there. But, hairs continued to fall. In 2010, I went to KGMC hospital, Lucknow for treatment, which showed positive signs. But after my marriage in 2011, treatment was interrupted. I wish to regrow my hairs. Please confirm if it is possible and how it can be done. Is hair transplant from other donor a solution for this, because I don?t have enough follicles? My donor area is also has very thin hairs. What are requirements to take transplant from others? Also I don?t know, if my scalp can support hair. I cannot take any steroids. Please advise if anything can be done to treat my scalp first and then transplant.
