Hello Dear Doctors, I am a 31 year old, 6.2 tall working professional, my day routine is more of sitting in office. We use sleepwell soft foam mattress but I feel they are not supporting my spine and often feel lower back ache, 10-20 minutes every morning. Which wld b a good supporting mattress. Not very expensive for general back support. We are a family of 3, has a 3 years old child as well and use common bed for sleeping. Please help.

Hello Rajat the backpain might be due to your sitting job n take break of atleast 10min n yes ofcourse the mattress should be not so soft n the spine should be comfortable

Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.
