There is tingling sensation in gum especially when I take hot or cold. What to do should I have to do root canal therapy?

If it is only on one tooth. Go for an xray to rule out the cause and if it is on all the teeth go for scaling.

Hello Lybrate user, I think you are having sensitivity in your teeth after taking hot or cold. At the age of 26 most common cause of sensitivity is cavity in any teeth. Root canal is usually not needed in such cases unless the cavity is too deep. An xray is taken before deciding the treatment plan. Visit a nearby dentist. Hope this helps.
