I met with a fire accident 20 days back in right foot. Gen practitioner removed 4 blisters and gave DuoClav 375 1-0-1 3 days and gave silverex ointment. I did not feel better for a week as burning continued. Consulted a skin specialist a week back who gave HHmclar 625 mg 1-0-1 and fudic cream. Burning and irritation continues on top of the skin around the burn injury. 2 blister wounds are better while for two more, severe irritation and burning still continues from the skin peeled while cutting blisters. Why is it so and how long it will take for me to be cured? I have to limp and walk on account of the burns. Skin Doctor also gave EpiO2 for 10 days. I apply fudic cream 3 to 4 times a day. Early morning around 3 a.m. I get severe irritation and burning from top of the skin over the wound. Is it because the old skin has died on account of burns and till new skin comes over the wound, burns and irritation will continue? Old skin over the top of the wound appears slightly black. I have feelings throughout the foot. Only burning and irritation are unbearable. Thanks.
