I am suffering from white coating in tongue for a month now I tried candid oral paint but it didn't work what could be the possible cause of it. I got this after a course of antibiotics for UTI. After this white coating I've got micro bumps on my lips too. What am I suppose to do to get rip this.

Hello Lybrate user, by the signs you explained I can suggest you have fungal infection called oral thrush. Only application of ointment does not work for every case. If this topical ointment (candid mouth pain) alone, is not working then you will have to take antifungal drug in the form of tablet and the ointment simultaneously. Also oral thrush usually takes place when our immune system is low. Also check for your blood sugar level. Hope this helps.

If you clean your tongue regularly, you can see red bleeding areas on tongue surface. If not, it may be something else. Same is true for micro bumps.
