My 10 mnth baby teething nw, she not taking food n milk, she is nt fussy ,she playing good, not at all taking food n milk, she used to eat every 2 hrs. Bt nw nothing she taking barely 500 ml of milk of food that's it. I used to give her homemade cerelac she use to eat. NW ntg she taking. Dr. prescribed vitamin d, calcium,iron, medicines ,2 weeks finshd, still not taking her food, I am worried abt my baby, she is loosing her weight too, motions are not loose it's normal 3 times a day. please help me out. please I am depressed. Give me the solution.

If the weight of 10 month girl child is around 8.5 kg or more then be rest assured as she is already getting the required food. As per IMNCI INDIA the diet of your baby should be like as mentioned Breastfeed as often as the child wants. Offer food from the family pot Give at least 1½ katori serving at a time of:- Mashed roti/rice/bread mixed in thick dal with added ghee/oil or khichri with added oil/ghee. Add cooked vegetables also in the servings OR - Mashed roti/ rice /bread/biscuit mixed in sweetened undiluted milk OR - Sevian/dalia/halwa/kheer prepared in milk or any cereal porridge cooked in milk OR - Mashed boiled/fried potatoes Offer banana/biscuit/ cheeko/ mango/ papaya 5 times per day. Remember: Sit by the side of child and help him to finish the serving Wash your child's hands with soap and water every time before feeding Also Teething causes irritation in the gums so the childs puts all types of objects in his mouth leading to infection and diarrhea. So just prevent the child doing these things and keep his surroundings clean.
