I was diagnosed increased lymphocytes (53%) in 2011. After ignoring the result no test done after long time. In 2016, again test result show elevated lymphocytes (48%). In 2017, condition repeat again. After consulting doctor, suggest to do complete blood count (CBC). These test are done but report are normal except lymphocytes. Doctor told nothing to worry. Symptoms r heaviness body, tightness chest & also whole body. Please give suggestion. Possible cause for the above mentioned problems.

High lymphocyte count, is an increase in white blood cells called lymphocytes. Lymphocytes are an important part of the immune system. They help fight off diseases, so it's normal to see a temporary rise in the number of lymphocytes after an infection. You may have a lymphocyte count that is higher than would normally be expected but have few, if any, symptoms. It's usually a harmless, temporary situation, as can occur after an illness. But it may represent something more serious, such as a blood cancer or a chronic infection. Your doctor may need to perform other tests to determine if your lymphocyte count is a cause for concern Your counts are not soo high to worry but if you are worried you can consult a hematologist and get further evaluation done.
