Hello Lybrate user, gap in between teeth arises due to loss of bone surrounding the tooth. This commonly occurs in a condition called periodontitis (inflammation of structures supporting teeth like gums). By following certain protocols, we can stop this increase in gap. Firstly you find a periodontist (specialist for treating infection in structures supporting teeth) and give him a visit. Im sure he will suggest you a course of antibiotic with mouth wash followed by ultrasonic cleaning of teeth surface. Also in many systemic diseases like diabetes, the bone supporting the tooth structure are easily lost. You can check your blood sugar level both fasting and post prandial. Hope this helps.

According to your age (30 yrs) your problem seems to be adult onset periodontitis. Only an expert dentist (periodontist) can help you in this regard. A full mouth radiograph (OPG) is required. Until the exact cause is not identified by dentist, simple scaling and polishing will go in vain. THANK YOU.

Get it checked near dentist. Gap in the teeth maybe because of trauma from occlusion or gum problem leading to bone loss and weak teeth .the gap may keep increasing. We can treat any kind of trauma or gum problem if detected or intercepted early. Do not neglect.

The most common cause is weakness of gums. Do what is tell you Get scaling and cleaning by a dentist. With that start Vitamin C tabkets and if possible multivitamin Massage your gums with turmeric and salt twice daiky Use homeopathic toothpaste heklalava by wheezal. And consult for homeopathic treatment.
