Did root canal before two months. Now there's a small bulge near that. When I checked with another doctor, she told Its a failure caused by infection. As of now there's no pain. What should be done next and how to cure the bulge. Is it worrying one.

You should proceed with re-rct after confirming once with the Xray.

Hello Lybrate user, the bulge near the root canal treated tooth is actually abcess containing pus. This exactly means that your root canal treatment has failed and their may be numerous reason for that. Now since root canal involves removal of pulp which contains nerves, this is the reason for you not having pain. Yes you should worry for this swelling, the infection will spread and gradually you will loose your tooth. Visit your nearby dentist, before doing anything he or she will take an xray of that particular teeth, to check what is wrong with the root canal. Re root canal followed by crown should subside the infection.

It seems infection. Needs x-ray n clinical check up for this. Go for re- ECT. Then have proper medicines. Cap or crown over that.
