I have been diagnosed with symptoms of IBS. Kindly tell me how to treat this disease. How much does it take to heal. It has been 2 months since I am taking medicines prescribed by a gastroenterologist. Kindly, advise what diet should I take and what to abstain from. At times it pains in the stomach, especially it gets hurt by some jerks while driving or otherwise. At that time it also pains while bending forward. I am taking a very light diet but in the process I have become weak and have lost 5 kg weight. Kindly tell me what to do and help me to get rid of this issue at the earliest.
