My kid's age is 3 years 1 month. Had fever of 101�F for last five days .Used Paracetamol. Still temperature continues. Used Clavam antibiotic today in the morning. After that he had loose motions twice. Is it the effect of antibiotic or something else? Suggest any medicine and dosage. His weight is 12. 4 kgs.

Hello lybrate-user! There are different treatment of different problem! Fever can b due to many problem! It can b viral or any other infection! Once fever did not decrese within one day of home medication you need to get your baby got checked up! Keep him hydrated! Liquid more! Antibiotic does not produce side effects in one dose but dnt start without Dr. advice! Diarrhoea may b due to disease affection only! Do whtwver your child specialist advice!
