My mom ESR test is showing 122 mm/hour. Whats does that mean? She often got fever. What does the high value of ESR means? Any serious issue? Please reply.

Hi, Elevated ESR reveals some infection in the body. It is not of diagnostic value; it has only prognostic value. Even a small wound in the body or if you have mild cold also, its levels are raised. As she has fever, high values are observed. Please do more specific tests like CBC, Widal, M.P. Montaux etc. To find out the cause of fever.
