I had mild bleeding during sex with my fianc which just got over soon after sex. Bleeding was extremely light like discharge and light brown in colour. Sex was also rough and was done after a span of 5 months. Doctor asked me to go for Pap smear. Results show moderate neutrophilic infiltrate. What does it mean? Was this bleeding due to infection or rough sex?

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. Neurotrophilic infiltrate is the diffusion or accumulation of neutrophils in tissues or cells in response to a wide variety of substances released at the sites of inflammatory reactions. This could happen because of the rough sexual intercourse you had. Though there is nothing to worry, you should follow the advise of your gynecologist. Take care.
