What exactly do u mean by "Glycemic Index"? I think u got confused between Glycemic index (which is a measure of how much glucose level a certain food stuff increases in ur blood) and Glycosylated hemoglobin, also called HbA1c (which is a measure of the average blood sugars in a person over 2-3 months). HbA1c is NEVER done in 2 week intervals. If u doubt diabetes, do a FBS & 2 hour PPBS.
Hello, Thanks for the query. Glycemic index is given for different foods. That tells how fast that food gets converted to glucose in the body. Meaning high glycemic index products like rice, idli, sweets potato get converted to glucose rapidly raising the blood glucose level. I am unable to understand what are you actually hinting. We only have blood glucose level. Thanks.
