I am a 68 year old woman advised with arthritis and a knee replacement surgery is suggested in 2 years time. Please advise.

Tkr should be avoided as far as possible. Arthritis doesn't go easily but can be managed to live life smoothly. Ayurveda doesn't kill pain but long run treatment helps in containing swelling of knees, reduce weight and maintaining flexibility of joints along with physiotherapy. I prefer you to learn simple yoga postures kapalbhati' is good for it too. Some herbal ayurveda med may be given for long run. If you agree converse privately please. After tkr also there is no 100% guarantee of normalcy for ever.
