Hi doctor, I got married in 2014. My husband does not put any interest in sex this is from starting day .Monthly once he does sexual intercourse. When I ask for reason he tells me that for 2 years he does not want children so that is the reason I am ot having sexual intercourse. I do not know upto which extent I should believe in this ans. He is over weight and he smokes and drinks a lot.

Not to have sex, to avoid conception sounds fishy. He might be suffering from impotence. Alcohol, obesity, smoking adds fuel to the fire and reduce his desire even more. You need to go to see a counselor with him. He could be suffering from depression also. This is definitely treatable if he wants.
