Go for scaling & bleaching.
Dear Lybrate user, the yellowing of teeth may be due to external stains and plaque deposits. Inherent tooth color cannot be changed permanently but if you're observing that it's getting more yellow with time, you should consult a dentist for scaling and polishing/ professional cleaning. Coffee and tea stains also cause yellowing especially if you consume these without milk. As far as I'm aware the quality of water in Chandigarh is not that bad that could lead to this discoloration. Brush twice daily and consult your dentist.

Dear lybrate-userji please get a proper oral prophylaxis or professional cleaning of your teeth done and then you may go for bleaching of teeth. It can be easily done in a single sitting.

Hello, yellow teeth could be because of deposits on teeth surface or food lodged in between teeth. Visit a dentist and get your scaling and polishing done. Brush your teeth twice daily. Night brushing is very important. Floss regularly. Rinse after every meal. Visit dentist every 6 months.
Hello Lybrate user, first you should go for scaling n polishing. After that, use mouthwash twice daily. Use interdental brush and dental floss to clean the interdental areas. Use tongue cleaner to clean the tongue.

If staining is more intrinsic. Provided that your discolouration is not due to inadequate enamel The simplest method of removing minor surface stains is polishing, or micro-abrasion exposing the dentin, tooth whitening (bleaching) is often the most effective treatment for yellow stained teeth. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Use Snowdent tooth paste for whitening until then. Apply SNOWDENT paste on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min .Then brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight for better results.

This may be due scaling. May be due to iron present in water. Rub a piece of lemon in your tooth. Brush with baking soda. And visit your dentist.
