What should be the blood sugar level in pregnancy? I am 20 weeks pregnant. Last month I test my sugar 2 hour after taking 75gm of glucose in empty stomach. It shows 186 mg/dl. So Dr. Told me to take cetapin xr 500. Is it safe? Or should I control through diet? From past 1 week I stop the medicine and my sugar level remain 110-140,1 hour after lunch&dinner. So should I continue the medicine or not?

Hi, If your blood sugar levels are eight now under control even without medication, then you can continue to keep it under control with diet and exercises. But keep testing your blood sugar levels regularly once in 15 days. If the values go beyond the noral range, then consult your physician immediately.
