Every woman undergoes such situations at least once in their life time. But at the same time it means that one should take corrective action so that the body learns to adapt and tries to be at its best potential. Your duty is to support the body and its nature to work at its optimum level. The reasons for irregular periods might be minor or major. So that needs to be checked. I would advise you to go for an annual medical examination along with some investigations and ensure that all is well. You can update the reports for clarification later. Please follow a healthy lifestyle because most of the complaints may evolve out of bad diet and sedentary habits (not being physically active in daily life and not getting proper sleep etc.). Some very simple measures can help you overcome a lot of problems in the future. Eat healthy and freshly prepared food. Avoid all junk food and cold drinks (sugary beverages and juices). Include all types of seasonal and local fruits and vegetables in daily diet. Have seeds and nuts as they contain lots of nutrients. Exercise everyday for 1 hour. Add Yoga as it can be very beneficial for menstrual irregularities. Have adequate water and fluids to maintain good hydration. Sleep 7-8 hrs every day at regular time. Last but not the least mentally relax a bit everyday and do not carry the burden of unpleasant experiences into the present. Learn to let go and enjoy life as it comes, accepting everything gracefully as it comes. Following these good habits is not mandatory but it should be a conscious choice with the deep understanding that in order to appreciate life in its totality one needs to take proper care of the mind and body.
