What is the best way to control cigret smoking and alcohol, its there any solution from dr, or from and medication? my close friend and my bro drink and smoke allots, which I want them to stop all this for there health and long life. Please suqquest anything if there is solution. Badly in need of saving thier life from smoke and drinks.

Dear Drinking and smoking comes under addiction or substance abuse. If the problem is chronic, de-addiction therapy is required. Otherwise simple psychotherapy should help your friend regain his lost health. You must be able to distinguish between mental disease and mental disorder. Your problem is a mental disorder. Not a mental disease. These mental disorders are usually treated with a combination of medicines and other means like awareness, meditation, Psychotherapy techniques, life style changes etc. I think two or three counseling sessions and psycho therapy techniques should solve your friends problem.
