if it was root canal for mandibular teeth then parasthesia can happen due to LA injection.in dis condition u feel numbness in lower lip up to half jaw.and sometimes even on tongue if it is lingual nerve parasthesia.if it is lingual nerve parasthesia then u can feel numbness and and other symptoms at one side of tongue.it is a reversible condition and will be cured.and u will able to do allyour functions from tongue.
