My dad blood is decreasing and his hemoglobin % is 4 and we do not know what is the reason. We tested bone marrow it is given normal results. please give me one suggestion.

Hi, The following are the causes of anaemia: - Severe intestinal bleeding due to gastric or duodenal ulcers - Intestinal worm infestation - Bleeding internal or external haemorrhoids - Deficiency of iron, folic acid, B 12, etc. - Ulcerative Colitis - Liver carcinoma According to the presenting symptoms, get appropriate investigation done. Endoscopy or colonoscopy, abdominal USG, routine stool tests, blood test like iron profile, PS, bone marrow biopsy, etc are some of the investigations done to know the cause of anaemia.
