I am suffering from alopecia areata since 5-7 years and have entered grade 3. I had lost almost all my crown area and often find myself low on confidence due to lack of hairs. I had already taken 4 PRP from Dr. R.K Joshi (Apollo Hospital, Delhi) in the year 2013, which initially showed good results, but after 1 year, all it's effect was over. Overall, PRP therapy for me was a total loss of time and approx 75000/-. After going through failed PRP, the doctor suggested me to go for hair transplant, but I am afraid of it. What if this technique fails and backfires? Another loss of 1 lakhs or so. Please guide me what do? Is there any good and result oriented doctor who can give me assurance to get back good, healthy and natural hairs?
