About Wepox 4000 IU Injection

Wepox 4000 IU Injection helps in the production of red blood cells in the body by the use of recombinant DNA technology. It increases the count of red blood cells in the body and treats anemia caused due to chronic kidney failure, chemotherapy and HIV . People with high risk of blood loss due to surgeries can also use this injection to reduce their need for blood transfusion. This medication produces red blood cells by causing stimulation of the bone marrow.

Wepox injection should not be taken if :

  • You are allergic to any of its ingredients.
  • You have very high blood pressure.
  • You have developed pure red cell aplasia after receiving the first dose.

Wepox has a few side effects such as cough, headache, joint or bone pain, mild muscle pain, muscle spasm, pain and redness in the injection site, nausea, vomiting and weight loss.

Ensure your doctor is informed about your other medications. Inform him if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you are on hemodialysis, if you have had or are scheduled to have a surgery recently. Consumption of Wepox 4000 IU Injection should be exactly like prescribed by the doctor and the dosage should not increase more than what is recommended. Overdosing may cause severe side effects to occur.
