Temolon 100Mg Capsule
Temolon 100Mg Capsule is an anti-cancer oral drug. It is used in chemotherapy. It is categorized as an alkylating agent. Temolon 100Mg Capsule is used in the treatment of anaplastic and glioblastoma multiforme.
This medicine is used for the treatment of adult patients with refractory (first relapse) anaplastic astrocytoma who have experienced disease progression on nitrosourea and procarbazine.
On using Temolon 100Mg Capsule you may experience side effects such as nausea, constipation, headache, weakness, paleness, reduced appetite, hair loss, low cognitive and memory skills and vomiting. Seek the help of your health care provider if your reactions persist and keep worsening over time.
As a precautionary measure, inform your doctor if: you are taking any prescription or non-prescription medications, you are allergic to this drug or any other medicines, or foods or substances, you are planning to take any vaccines, you are pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, or are nursing a baby.
The dosage for Temolon 100Mg Capsule will be determined by your doctor taking into consideration your requirements. It comes in a capsule form of 5 mg, 20 mg, 100 mg and 250 mg. Usually, the daily dosage for adults ranges somewhere between 150-200 mg.
Take the medicine on an empty stomach either two hours or one hour prior to your meals or at bedtime. Dose-limiting toxicity is hematological. In the event of an overdose, hematological evaluation is necessary. Treatment is supportive.
Swallow capsules whole with a glass of water. Take on an empty stomach at similar time each day. If you have nausea and vomiting, contact healthcare provider for medicine to decrease this.
Male and female patients who take Temolon 100Mg Capsule should protect against pregnancy (use effective contraception). Do not breast-feed while on medicine. Blood work necessary on day 22 and day 29 of each cycle to determine when to start next cycle and how much medicine to give.

Caution is advised when driving or operating machinery. -
Does this affect kidney function?
Caution should be used when administered to patients with severe renal impairment (Clcr <39 mL/minute). -
Does this affect liver function?
Caution should be used when administering to patients with severe hepatic impairment. Please consult doctor before consuming the drug.
