Nitrocontin is not a cholesterol control agent, it is a anti-hypertensive and anti-anginal and has no impact on lipid profile. Rozavel F is the cholesterol control drug.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the details mentioned. In fact for persons with all such problems as you have there is an absolute need to take Covid vaccination so as to protect against the possible infection. So please do take that vaccine.
Secondly it is very important to achieve a strict glucose control with FBG < 100 mg or closer to 100 mg, PP 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% <7%. Allergies are fine, those do not affect the decision to take vaccine shot. If you have any questions...more

However, there is no mention of hdl the good cholesterol. Since she has diabetes and hypertension, it is essential to know how the blood glucose is controlled as well as how the bp is. If you could give me levels of your lipid profile it would help. Avoid junk food, excessive sweets and keep to optimum weight. Also keep a low salt diet and exercise regularly.

Dipti ji, Thanks for the query.
Please tell me why are you on Metformin 850 mg? Because usually there is no drug needed to treat pre-diabetes. Since there are no relevant details given like lipid levels, glucose levels, HbA1c% & BP readings. There is no way to comment. Thanks.

Congratulations. This is very good response. However, you must continue the medicine as it islikely that stopping the medicine may get your levels back up. Meanwhile reduce your weight, cut down on sugar in your diet, have a healthy low fat, high fibre diet. You can test your levles in 3 months again and decide based on whether you are able to manage with lifestyle modifications.
