Hi madam, sudden withdrawal of this medicine is not advisable. If you like, you may switch over gradually over a period of time to homeopathy which does not have side effects and no problem of addiction.

You need to consult an experienced psychiatrist for second opinion as I can see that these medications causing side effects in for of decrease sexual drive. Yes these medications (sizodon and lonazep) can cause such side effects but you do not need to worry this condition can be treated easily with modification in your treatment. Consult a psychiatrist nearby or online so that thorough evaluation is done and accordingly treatment can be finalized. All the best.

Yes it can..see all meds target both positive and negative symptoms..respinse in terms of positive symptoms is better for all of them.Among meds sizopin and amisant are better than others. If you really want to improve negative symptoms you need more than meds and then also some deficits will always remain..Your new combination is fine but remember the combination of amisant and sizopin is among the best for negative symptoms. In the end goal is to take as few meds as possible..

Dear lybrate-user, All these medications are either anti depressants or Anti Psychotics. Anti Depressants like some of them you are taking are given in OCD and anti psychotics are given as Augmenters in OCD also, I am not sure about the diagnosis of Schizo affective .I need more information to comment on it. In consistencies do occur in Psychiatric diagnosis and the tests reflect what you answer or respond which are interpreted. If you can share your entire history I may be able to help you.

Dear Arti,
At the outset, i will tell you about quality of life years. WHO mentions for this millennium, it is not death rate, but quality of life years that matters as outcome of treatment. Please think about 50 years of life with active interest or 100 years of cursing life daily.
