1.Calcium restriction is not required. You can have milk and diary products.
2.Please limit protein rich powders as they might lead to uric acid stone formation.
3.Please make sure you have plenty of oral fluids ~ 2.5 litres / day
4.Also limit excess salt intake in the diet.

Different gynecologist have different opinions about total amount in a day and also in gap between two of same medicine, so best is to ask treating obstetrician.
I prefer calcium of 500 elemental three times a day (gap of 2 hours between tab & milk), vitamins- must have b complex twice a day with meals, iron tab twice a day before meals with fresh lime water (vit c) and also prefer to add folic acid+dha & good quality protein.

Hello lybrate user first you have to check your sr. Calcium level, ra factor and aso titer test. Joint pain and bone weakness are due to either calcium deficiency, rheumatoid arthritis or osteo arthritis. By checking all above test you will find reason of your complaint and take treatment accordingly.

vitamin D sachets or capsules are available along with calcium. don't exceed the dose beyond 500 IU and 500 mg. good combination of both is in shelcal 500
vitamin K helps absorption of vitamin D.
dexorange syrup for iron is easily tolerated without causing vomiting, and constipation or gastro effects and iron folic acid supplements are available at most of primary health centers
never take iron and calcium together or with milk
take high protein simple diet

Hello lybrate-user. Heel pain may result from plantar fasciatis or calcaneal spur. A fascia at sole of the foot gets injured due to improper footwear mostly or lifestyle n calcaneal spur is the exrra growth of the calcaneus (bone of heel). Use of soft footwear inside as well as outside the house, stretching of TA and plantar fascia will help. Beter to visit a Physiotherapist who will evaluate your pain thourouly and give proper treatment. Ultrasound therapy may also help.
