Throughout life. Allopathy controls well, does not cure diabetes etc.
My suggestion is to switch to herbals gradually, initially taking it parallel to allopathy with some gap. No interaction of herbs with your current medicines. However you can not take the risk of quitting allopathy abruptly.

If mitral stenosis and regurgitation have already developed and are secondary to rhd, there is no way to reverse it, rather you should focus on how it doesn't progress further and don't lead to any complications. Long term treatment is needed, probably life long. If anybody claims to reverse it with medicines, he is lying and misleading you. Hi, the postprandial glucose levels are too high and they are already in the range of diabetes, can you tell, 1)is your mother hypertensive?
2) how often ,she takes metocard xl because you wrote sometimes in the end
3) did you take ecg for your mother anytime because in case of palpitations ecg is must
4) can you also go for hba1c test so that we can know whether she I diabetic from how many many months
5) consult after taking every thing, so that we can decide.

If blood pressure is not controlled after taking three or more drugs then it may be matter of concern. You should follow lifestyle measures rigorously to complement medicine. Loosing some extra kilos also part of it. Ask your docor to look for any missing factors like kidney problem or painkiller use etc.
