I have seen the details given. Glycomet 1gm contains only metformin 1000 mg and the other tablet contains glimiperide 1 mg with 1000 mg of metformin. Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Tab Gluconorm SR 500 is containing only Metformin, where as The other tablet has Glimepiride 1 mg plus metformin. So the action can be much stronger. That may lead to lower glucose levels. Plus changing medicine with doctor's advise, is not good. Thanks.
