Entamizole O 200Mg/500Mg Tablet is a combination medication primarily prescribed for treating diarrhoea and/or dysentery. It comprises antibacterial and antiamoebic drugs that fight against parasitic and bacterial infections. It is very effective in treating infectious condition due to its dual-action.

This medication inhibits the production of certain enzymes in the DNA of a bacteria, which are necessary for the survival and growth of this bacterial infections. Therefore, this antibiotic drug fights against bacterial infections by killing the bacteria and inhibiting the process of bacterial cell division.

This tablet works via a dual mechanism and includes a combination of two antibiotic Ofloxacin and Ornidazole and is used for the treatment of fungal infection. Ofloxacin prevents bacterial growth by killing them. Ornidazole works by killing the parasites and anaerobic bacteria which causes infection and damages the DNA. They work together and treats the infection effectively.
