About Dolomed Mr Tablet

Dolomed Mr Tablet is a combination of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) and a muscle relaxant. NSAID works by inhibiting the enzymes cyclo-oxygenase I and II which leads to a decrease in the synthesis of prostaglandins that regulate fever, inflammation, pain and swelling.

Chlorzoxazone, Ibuprofen and Paracetamol are its active ingredients. The medicine works by daunting muscle reflexes, increasing the pain threshold and the flow of blood across the skin. It blocks the production of prostaglandin released in the body during pain.

Dolomed Mr Tablet treats back pain, fever, muscle pain, cold, cephalalgia, febrility and toothache. Apart from these it can also be used to prevent muscle spasm, ear pain, joint pain, period pain, pain in nerves and body and symptoms of cold and influenza.

The drug is suitable for adults as well as children who are 6 months and above. It should not be taken during the last trimester of pregnancy as it has been found that it can harm the foetus. Breastfeeding women are also advised to avoid taking this drug.
