no honey isn't would b the cause of diabetes. but should b avoid who has uncontrolled blood sugar. mostly for weight reduction it is consumed but there are many other ways to reduce weight.

Hello, No, unless it is taken in large quantity like 2-3 tsp daily. Honey doesn't 'cause' diabetes it can raise your blood sugar. 1 tsp once or twice in a week is OK for a diabetic if his sugar is well controlled.
