Hello, cold usually happens to weather/ season change/ exposure to particular allergen. If you have symptoms like sneezing, running nose, blocked nose, headache, may be mild fever, please follow - 1. Adequate rest, proper sleep, and healthy diet is the key treatment to cold/ coryza. 2. Drink lots of fluids and eat homemade food. 3. Drink hot beverages (tea/ coffee) to relieve nasal congestion. 4. Take steam inhalation carefully by steam inhaler twice a day for 2-3 days 5. Blow your nose to sniff mucus out. 6. Take steamy shower. Steamy showers moisturize your nasal passages and relax you. 7. If you have sore throat, do warm saline gargles 2-3 times a day till relief of symptoms. 8. Sleep with an extra pillow under your head. This will help with the drainage of nasal passages. 9. Take tablet levocetrizine 5 mg tablet once daily after food for 3 days, 10. In case of associated headache, bodyache, mild fever, or sore throat, instead of levocetrizine, take tablet sinarest one tablet 3 times daily after food for 3 days. Hello? regular cold may be due to allergies or due to decreased immunity repeated episodes of viral infection. Steam inhalation twice a day. Have fruits 5 portions every day. A course of vitamin b complex and vitamin c to improve immunity. Avoid allergic stimuli like dust, pollen's. If you remain in ac room either ensure ac filter is cleaned every 2 weeks or use a mask.
