If I have been on the pill for 7 days after period and sexually active with a condom as back up, and on day 7 (day before day 14 of cycle) I get discharge (clear sticky mucus) does it mean in going to ovulate? Or could it qualify as pregnancy scare? Or is it normal to have discharge?

Clear, sticky mucus or discharge can be a normal part of a woman's menstrual cycle and is often associated with changes in cervical mucus throughout the menstrual cycle. Cervical mucus changes in response to hormonal fluctuations, particularly around the time of ovulation. The pill, when taken correctly and consistently, usually suppresses ovulation and thickens cervical mucus to prevent sperm from reaching the egg. However, no contraceptive method is 100% foolproof, including the pill and condoms. If you have been taking the pill correctly for 7 days and using condoms as a backup, you have a good level of contraceptive protection.
