I am suffering from pcod. Due to this I have a little hair problem on my chin on which I am taking lasik treatment now. But since it is due to pcod/ hormonal imbalance, I have been asked to take oral contraceptive tablets to control the pcod. I am taking Doris tablet for it. But will that solve my problem? After my sittings are over and I stop the medicine, will I still face hair growth problem? And are these tablets safe with no further side effects?

Doris tablet is not given for pcod who have hair growth. As you are suffering for pcod, in which there is excessive hormone build up in your body which is responsible for the hair growth or hirsutism. It can be controlled with lifestyle modifications and medicines. Being overweight with pcod causes lots of hair growing hormones to build up. Mainstay of your treatment is weight reduction and krimson-35 for 6-12 months will stop growth of new hairs on your body. Those who are already formed, you should get it removed at the dermatologist. Electrolysis and laser hair removal are best options, but expensive and may require multiple settings which you r already getting done. Shaving, bleaching, plucking, waxing, and using depilatories (creams that dissolve hair) are some of the more common ways of removing or hiding unwanted hair.
