Why is it that sometimes I see many moving white dots in front of my eyes, when I turn my head while lying down on my lap or suddenly moving my head down? Is this normal or not?

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you. This is called posterior vitreous detachment (pvd). It is very common and more likely to happen as you get older. As the vitreous pulls away from your retina you may see this as a flash of light in one or both eyes, like small sparkles, lightning or fireworks. Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.
