Hii. I am 7.6 weeks pregnant. Yesterday went for scan. Doc told gestational age is 5.6 weeks can't find heart beat and yolk sac. Ask to come after 10 days for rescan. Actually I had pcod and got conceived with the medicine letrozle and metformin for 2 cycles. Is everything normal?

At 5 weeks, sometimes heartbeat may not be seen. Continue with Susten sr and get the scan repeated. If you get spotting however, prognosis is poor.

Hello, if you had irregular cycles then the gestational age could be less and after 10 days when repeat scan is done if growth is appropriately 10 days more then you need not worry at all. It would be due to wrong lmp date. However after repeat scan also if there is no heart beat it indicates that it is an unhealthy pregnancy and you may need to abort it with medications.
