While drinking water from bottle. Some droplets of water went into my small wound at the left side of my lip. After few minutes, I washed it with soap & water (i suspect that rabies virus was there in the bottle), now does this count as an exposure? I already took a full course of arv (5 doses), last/5th dose was 37 days ago (10th august 2021). So, now do I need extra booster doses or only wound management with soap & water was enough (the wound stinged as I applied soap)?

Dear Mr. lybrate-user rabies cannot be transmitted from water as it cannot survive there. So do not worry. Need not do anything.
