How long does corona virus survive in a closed room? If a person got cavity while living in a room and then shifted to another place. After how long the room can be used safely again if left unused, closed and not sanitized?

hello lybrate user.. you can use the room atleast after 28 days and not before that.. I advice you to fumigate the room, which is safest. thank you..

getting a cavity or not do not depends on whether the person has Covid or not. But if someone got a Covid and is treated in a dental room for any dental procedure then chances are the next patient may get, a dental staff, and doctors may get a covid infection. But Nowadays chances are very very less because many dental clinics follow certain guidelines like- asking patients about all the doses of covid vaccine, they have an exhaust fan in front and back of the patient, rinsing before starting the procedure, Proper equipment PPE, Aerosol generating procedures are done in separate hours, use high-evacuation suction, dental dams, and other methods to minimize aerosolization of droplets and capture and remove mists or aerosols generated during dental care, use of local exhaust ventilation or equipping dental offices with this capability to capture and remove mists or aerosols generated during dental care. This was when covid was at its peak. Now a maximum number of people had the covid vaccine. So of spreading is very less.
